Green juice is a great way to get your daily recommended serving of vegetables and more importantly vitamins and minerals. I will give you some ideas about why green juice is good, as well as some things to consider when buying yours. If you are adventurous why not make your own.

 

Previously I blogged about Macro and Micro nutrients, drinking green juice is a convenient way to get all the vitamins and minerals you need. First of all you don't have to sit down and eat all those vegetables you can drink them ! Since you can drink your vegetables why not put them in a big BPA Free bottle so you can take your vegetables with you on the go and drink them at your convenience. Also, you can experiment with different vegetable and fruit combinations to make drinks that you personally like. Once you do a little research and gain a little experience in making your own green juices or smoothies you can specifically choose ingredients that will help to prevent sickness, improve your immune system and even improve your skin condition. Finally, the ingredients to make green juice are not so expensive !

 

With this in mind, I would say investing money and more importantly your time in making green juices or smoothies is definitely a smart move that will pay back in the future.

I have always considered myself a healthy eater except for occasionally eating more than my share of chocolate. However eating healthy and eating to look your best are different goals with different strategies. Although I believe I know quite a lot about nutrition I want to challenge myself through research, documentation and implementation of personal habits. As I gain new knowledge I will make it my goal to update this page with simple, clear and concise guidelines to relevant nutritional concepts as well as simple strategies and plans to implement them in ones daily life.

When it comes to ones appearance or most things in general our human nature seems to be to try to get it as soon as and effortfully as possible. We are seem to look for the sexy answer. I am sorry to tell you though that as well nasty tasting medicine, the not so sexy answer gets the best results. With this in mind I plan to start from zero, I will talk about basic nutritional knowledge, related skills and their strategic application. Also keep in mind that although I will do my best to make my descriptions easy to understand clear and concise, it still might not be so easy to understand much less implement. Just think, if it were so easy everyone would have their dream body and then having a dream body would no longer be a sign of ones uniqueness or abilities as an individual.

The key thus seems to be, take it step by step, do the most you can with what little you have and enjoy the growing process. In my first post I will begin by talking about knowing ones body type.
