Hi, I am Josh. I was born in San Francisco. Since I was young I have had the opportunity to visit and live in several countries. Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong are just a few of those countries in which I have spent considerable time. In these countries that I have had a variety of rich experiences, and it is these experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today.
Regions, culture and language do not define us, on the contrary they enrich our lives. I truly believe that language is the key to culture and communicative ability is the bridge to our person success and more importantly world peace.
Through teaching you English I hope to promote the exchange of ideas and culture and further more world peace through mutual understanding. Let me be your guide over the bridge of international communication and along the way I will help you in yo?ur search of personal success and the key to a vast richness of world culture.

My last school days were spent in a university in Santa Barbara. Though studying Scientific Photography was the toughest experience in my life, I worked in the same department lab as a TA (teaching staff) for four years. This whole-new teaching experience gave me eye-opening lessons and changed my life. English has given me tremendous opportunities for my growth and confidence. It's nice to know that there is no place on Earth you cannot go to, and that you are willing to try anything that seems impossible at first. So come join us. We're here to help you make your dreams come true.

My name is Nobuteru Kimura but please call me “Nobu” for short. I joined Hearthside International School as a manager in June, 2017. I had been working in a foreign airline company for a long time, so please ask anything if you would like to know about airline industry or overseas travel, especially about Hong Kong which my previous company was based in. For my personal issues, I have been playing piano for more than 15 years, I do like swimming, and “Origami” making is my secret hobby. I look forward seeing you at Hearthside.
